Viime viikolla järjestämämme päivän ystäväpurjehdus onnistui vallan hilpein mielin. Kokoonnuimme Ruissalon Saaronniemessä aamulla 0900, jonka jälkeen kävimme 1,5 tunnin perehdytyksen veneen turvallisuus- ja muista käytännön seikoista. Miehistö pääsi esim. opettelemaan solmuja, joissa oli jotain vallan uutta kaikille vierailijoille – mutta jota taitoa he jo heti seuraavassa hetkessä tarvitsivat.
Purjehdimme iloisesti Vepsään ja päivän hiet vietimme saaristossa peuhaten. Tasapainoilu-nyöri ”slack line”, taekwondo-potkuläpyskät, frisbee, sirkuspallot ja muut veneen aktiviteetti varastoon kuuluvat välineet siunasivat hetken jos toisenkin.
Illan suussa palasimme Ruissaloon ankkuriin, hengailimme veneellä hetken auringonlaskua mereen katsellessa erittäin tyytyväisinä siihen, mitä olimme juuri tehneet ja kokeneet. Tällaista näin kokonaisvaltaista, vaihtoehtoista kokemusta ja virkistävää taukoa omaan työrytmiin ei saa mistään muualta. Meri on täynnä siunausta, se vapauttaa. Sen vaikutus on ”joka sentin arvoinen”, kuten ystävämme päivän päätteeksi veneen tukisummasta totesi.
Järjestelemme jo seuraavaa tempausta ystäviemme viemiseksi merelle, olethan yhteydessä kun kuulet niistä! Ja levitä tieto tovereillesikin!

Last weekend’s ”Friend’s Day Sailing” -escapade brought a lot of success to our campaign.
The day went in all very good & well, having every person ate good & healthy, great delicious food partly straight from the nature healing every soul.
The day began with a meeting on Ruissalo pier, Saaronniemi beach at the end of Ruissalo, going through safety- & other practical issues on board and during sailing. They got to learn for example knots, which was very new for all of the crew.
We straightly hoisted the sails and went to Vepsä Island, spending time there with swimming, playing outdoor-games and enjoying the company. On boat there is a great set of things to do when spending time on land, as example: a slack line, a frisbee, taekwondo -kicking pads, joggling balls etc. That brings a lot of fun for us and the crew and can make us even sweat during our sailing adventure!
After the day we anchored back to Ruissalo, in front of the beauty beach & sunset view, spending a bit of time there chatting & smiling. The experience is ”worth of every penny”, as one of our friends after the day said. So, recommend us and every time you hear there’s a sailing possibility, let us hear you! Because, we are passionate – and you need freedom at the Sea.
